In my family, there are customs that we like to preserve every year. Everyone looks forward to them. The grown ups get a tad excited too.
First of all, there is the advent calendars. Once when we were little, my mother used to make these advent calendars by hand. But this time, it's much easier to shop for 1 on the web which I'm pleased about given that I do not believe I'll be any great at making it.
Last year, we started to buy the Lego advent calendar which I believe are rather great and one which the young children appreciate a good deal too.
